The Willingboro Municipal Democratic Committee (WMDC) is governed by the elected Committeemen and Committeewomen who are accountable to the registered Democratic voters of the municipality. There are 36 Voting Districts in Willingboro, and the residents of each District elects one male and one female to represent it. Those elected Committee members then elect a Municipal Chair each year, and other officers.

The purpose of the organization is to promote the Regular Democratic Party values, the well-being of the people and the progress of Willingboro, the County and the State. The Organization has adopted, and periodically reviews, a Constitution and By-Laws.

Our organization is always interested in welcoming new, like-minded individuals who share our civic duty-oriented views and desire for a right-sized, fiscally responsible government. We have an open enrollment for vacancies on our Committee. Even if you have little interest in becoming a Committee member, there remain many other opportunities to become involved – from running for office as a candidate, joining a campaign team of an existing candidate, or joining our active local Democratic club, and other Democratic organizations. We are also interested in signing up Election Day Challengers to monitor polling places throughout our town. This is a a very important job which protects the integrity of the voting process. If you are interested in working as an official, paid poll-worker for Burlington County, we can also assist you. As you can see, there are a lot of ways to get involved.

If you would like to volunteer to participate in any Democratic contest at any level of government, please contact our Organization at …If you are here to check us out because you would like to become more involved in your government, I invite you to contact us at:
